Eyes on Animals is an animal-welfare organization based in The Netherlands that strives to reduce as much farm-animal suffering during transport and slaughter as possible. The organization sends out teams to visit slaughterhouses and check on animal trucks on the highway, all throughout Europe, Turkey and Ghana. Its focus is on enforcing existing animal-welfare legislation, training animal handlers on animal-behaviour, intelligence and more humane handling techniques, shedding light on companies that are working to reduce animal suffering and exposing animal suffering and the companies that cause it. Eyes on Animals is motivated by the philosophy that the world should move towards a more plant-based agricultural system to better guarantee no risk of animal abuse.
