Tapped (2009) is a documentary that shines a light on the largely unregulated bottled water industry. Exposing its severe environmental, health and economic impacts and questioning the ethics of privatising municipal water for corporate profit. The film tracks the path of plastic bottles from petroleum production to the ocean, highlights the billions of single-use bottles that end up in landfills or pollute waterways and examines the chemicals used in the production of water bottles.
